Bakuchiol and salicylic acid from wintergreen leaves work together to mimic the effects of synthetic retinol on the skin, gently exfoliating the skin within the pores, targeting existing breakouts and helping prevent future ones. Bakuchiol, like retinol, also boasts anti-ageing benefits and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Organic Canadian botanicals and Black Cumin Seed Oil provide a moisturizing, soothing base for our clarifying and rejuvenating concentrate.
Bakuchiol, sometimes referred to as “botanical retinol” is a plant extract from the babchi plant that has been scientifically demonstrated to have a similar effect to retinol on the skin, but without the dryness and irritation often associated with retinol.

Key Ingredients:
BAKUCHIOL
An antioxidant extract from the babchi plant shown to have similar effects to retinol, without causing irritation and dryness. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves the texture & tone of your skin.
SALICYLIC ACID
An oil-soluble beta-hydroxy acid extracted from wintergreen leaves exfoliates the skin helping to unclog pores and prevent blemishes from forming. It also boasts anti-inflammatory properties and helps target hyperpigmentation.
BLACK CUMIN SEED OIL
Rich in Zinc and naturally antibacterial, Black Cumin Seed Oil helps treat existing breakouts and prevent future ones from forming. The high Linoleic Acid content helps balance out an oily skin type.
SKIN BARRIER REPLENISHING LIPIDS
Squalane, tamanu, jojoba, cranberry, rosehip, safflower, cucumber, carrot and grape seed oils help soothe skin and calm redness, without greasiness.

APPLICATION
HOW DO I USE IT?
STEP 1
Use at night, after cleansing. Apply 1-2 drops across the face, neck, and décolletage, avoiding the delicate eye area.
STEP 2
If you’re new to our Bakuchiol Rejuvenating Concentrate, we suggest starting slowly and using 2-3 times per week. Only increase the frequency of use if tolerated and if needed.
STEP 3
To avoid irritation, layer over your face oil/moisturiser, to buffer the delivery of the active ingredients to the skin.
STEP 4
Always apply sunscreen the following morning (and every day!).
*Patch testing prior to use is recommended.
